This combined cycle cogeneration project includes two GE LM6000PD gas turbines each connecting to an IST Once Through Steam Generator (OTSG). Each gas turbine has an individual electrical capability of 42MWe each for a combined output of 84MWe. The plant will supply both high pressure (HP) steam to power a 28MWe extraction steam turbine and medium pressure (MP) steam to supply process thermal loads throughout the Ford facility. The combined cycle electrical output capacity will be a nominal 100MWe. Backup steam will be provided through two conventional medium pressure steam boilers. Connection to the Windsor utility system is at the 115KV level via a dual feeder configuration.
